It is an abhorrance that the humanities are constantly being cut down financially. This faculty is the most fertile ground for creative and interesting ideas that consider what it means to be a part of the world and those efforts cannot be lost simply because the fruits of our labour are not always tangible and marketable. Students should be given the chance to develop themselves, and one way in which this can be done is to offer them a broad array of courses in which both students and teachers are given the space to dive deep into the course materials. Over the past year we have notices that our development works best if we can come together. That is why I intend to make sure that we go back to the form of education where online is not the norm. I am very much looking forward to busy myself with faculty policy this coming year and I hope to hear a lot from you!
